# The Registry: Field Report - SF's Hometown Creamery The little anarchist was threatening to turn a perfectly good afternoon into a hostage situation. He was running hot, demanding a payoff, and I was out of negotiation tactics. I needed a bribeβ€”something cold, sweet, and legally permissible. We sought asylum at SF's Hometown Creamery. The joint plays it smart. They’ve got murals of the city’s neighborhoods painted up near the ceilingβ€”Chinatown, the Castro, North Beachβ€”laying out a colorful map of all the territories the kid plans to eventually conquer. Painted on the wall in bold, black letters is their alibi: the first in the city to make small-batch ice cream completely from scratch on-site. In a town built on tech grifts, it’s nice to see an honest racket. The drop went down on a scarred wooden table. Observe the photographic evidence. Three compostable cups, three targets. First, the pink scoop. It looked innocent enough, a sweet, fruity blush of strawberry. But the anarchist didn't hesitate. He took it down with a terrifying, surgical speed, wielding a tiny white spoon like a shiv. He didn't even leave a witness. Next to it sat a dark chocolate scoop, as dense and brooding a

What could be better than a delicious ice cream cone, on a hot day exploring San Francisco! Great flavors, high quality ingredients that are evident in the flavor.

the white chocolate rose flavor was really yummy and hit the spot and i appreciated the smidge size serving and smidge size cone (although it’s less than a dollar to upgrade to the scoop size so it makes eating in smaller portions seem worse value but thats standard movie theater type pricing i guess). waffle cone was tasty they do samples too!

Weekend visits(~9.30 pm): A small place, limited seats and a warm story, next to a park and few foodtruck style options around. Decently priced for good ice cream, have multiple size options tooπŸ‘ŒπŸΌand locally sourced and madeπŸ‘πŸΌ Ordered Chocolate Sorbet icecream, it’s good, the flavour was rich, kinda grew on me. It’s a little new for me, never had a chocolate sorbet before! They had today’s menu, so probably things change a bit! I see a lot of holiday flavours and experimentation πŸ‘πŸΌ Parking might be a problem.
